EUt+ Tech Showcase Sofia 2026 Highlights the Future of Engineering Technologies

The event brought together researchers, students, faculty, and industry leaders to present the latest innovations in mechatronics, robotics, and advanced high-tech solutions.

Researchers from the European University of Technology Alliance (EUt+) and representatives from companies including Bosch, Siemens, Festo, Melexis, and Bibus demonstrated the latest achievements in mechatronics, robotic systems, and advanced high-tech solutions during the EUt+ Tech Showcase Sofia 2026.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest achievements in mechatronics, automation, and intelligent manufacturing systems. Demonstrations included robotic solutions, industrial process control systems, and technologies related to the digitization of manufacturing and big data management.

Events like this are widely recognized in international academic and industrial practice, as they provide direct opportunities for knowledge exchange between scientific communities and industry. This format encourages the implementation of research outcomes into real-world industrial applications and fosters the creation of new technological solutions.

With its innovative approach, EUt+ Tech Showcase Sofia 2026 clearly demonstrates that the future of engineering is digital, interconnected, and data-driven. This trend is increasingly shaping the standards for the development, implementation, and operation of modern mechatronic and robotic systems.

The forum also enabled active dialogue between academia and industry. During the event, representatives of the EUt+ universities and leading technology companies began discussions on future collaborative projects, research initiatives, and innovation partnerships.

One of the primary goals of the initiative was to highlight the potential for closer cooperation between researchers, engineers, and faculty members from the EUt+ universities and industry leaders. Such collaboration is a key driver for accelerating technological development and for training highly skilled engineers capable of addressing the challenges of contemporary industry.

By hosting the first event, Technical University of Sofia reaffirmed its role as an active participant in the European scientific and technological landscape, as well as a significant hub for advancing engineering education, research, and innovation.
