Joint initiative of EUt+ Language Departments, Disciplines & Centres

Joint initiative of EUt+ Language Departments, Disciplines & Centres
From March 2026 EUt+ Language Studies Departments, Disciplines and Centres will again run a number of online courses Languages for Staff in the EUt+ partner universities.
We are also happy to offer a pilot course organised by h_da – Diverse Classrooms: Intercultural Communication and Competence for EUt+ lecturers (start date 14.04.2026).
This year the registration of interest will begin on 21st February and thus we shall celebrate the International Mother Language Day: Celebrating the Voices of Our Heritage.

Classes will be formed to allow participation from across the EUt+. It is, therefore, envisaged that 2 to 4 participants from each university will be able to join each of the language courses listed. In other words, class groups of approx. 20 participants will be formed that will bring together staff from the various languages and cultures of EUt+ to learn and develop language competence in a new or second language.
Note that places in the courses will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Class participation will be confirmed as soon as possible after the closing date. Only successful applicants will receive an email with the relevant information from the course organisers.
Missing the first 2 weeks will result in unenrollment and another applicant from your university will be invited to the course.
More information about the schedule of the offered courses, as well as how to register your interest, will be sent by email by the university representative of the Multilingualism and Interculturality Office (MIO) of EUt+.

Registration of interest will begin at 9:00 am (CET) on 21st February 2026 and will be open until 09:00 pm (CET) on 25th February 2026. Thus, on 21st February we shall celebrate the International Mother Language Day.
You might like to note the registration date in your own calendars!
