BIP “Communicating Science and Culture 3” (CSC3)

The Technical University of Sofia is an organiser and a host of the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) “Communicating Science and Culture 3 (CSC3)” funded under Erasmus + contract: 2025-1-BG01-KA131-HED-000311047-1. This project involves interlingual and intercultural exchanges between students from several EUt+ partner university: University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (UNICAS), Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and the Technical University of Sofia (TUS).

In the Library and Information Centre (LIC) of the Technical University of Sofia you will be able to meet students and lecturers from two of the TU partner universities in the European University of Technology (EUt+): University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (UNICAS), Cyprus University of Techology (CUT) and the Technical University of Sofia (TUS), who will learn and have fun in 4 languages in an academic and intercultural environment.

The programme includes both online elements (from 15.09.2025 – 26.09.2025 and from 06.10.2025 – 10.10.2025) and face-to-face training and intercultural and multilingual exchange at TU – Sofia – from 29.09.2024 – 03.10.2025.

The programme, developed by the Department of Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics (DFLAL), focuses on transversal (transferable) skills and competences (intercultural communication competencies, presentation skills, emotional intelligence, teamwork) as a vital part of everyone’s life. By learning about each other’s language and culture, we will reflect on, further develop and practice the skills necessary to analyse and meet the needs of team members, and of teams in general, when different nationalities are involved. Students will be actively involved in the program as creators of ideas and authors of content. This edition of the program has a special focus on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
