The Technical University of Sofia will host a regular meeting with EUt+ partners

From March 31 to April 4, 2025, the Technical University of Sofia will open its doors to more than 100 guests, representatives of the EUt+ Alliance.

The current meeting of the European University of Technology is dedicated to education. The Issues to be discussed relate to the common European diploma and the harmonisation of criteria across different disciplines. The curricula in the following clusters will be addressed: European Curricula Development, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Food Science and Technology, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunication. It is important to understand the challenges faced by the clusters and how to develop them better, as well as how to continue enriching Work-Based learning. The tasks for the Computer Science and Telecommunications cluster include updating the mobile maps with current disciplines, discussing the master’s programmes among partners, and finding common points for creating a master’s programme. Additionally, the annual meeting of the Erasmus Common Office and Students’ Board will also be held.

The meeting of the rectors of the partner universities will take place during Sofia Week 2025. All partner universities will also be represented by the heads of the “Ombudsman Office” with the aim of establishing a single student “ombudsman office”.

During Sofia Week 2025, a professional development training for lecturers will be held on the topic: “Consolidating Knowledge in an Interactive Learning Environment”. The lecture will be led by Kalina Belcheva.

As part of the forum, a lecture will be delivered by Mike Gage, Head of the “Advocacy and Community” department at Unity Technologies. This lecture will explore the world of generative artificial intelligence and its transformative impact on the creative industries, including game development.
